I think the market for reference books is shrinking (if I want a quick answer to a question, online is where it's at). But if I wanted to learn a new technology, I'd much rather read a book than a whole raft of websites. I'm still buying computer books. I read the article at Dr dobbs, and thought they were pointing to the writing section of your blog, because i never saw this books section. By the way i think their suggestion of "blog to book" would be a great idea, particularly for your collecton on writing books and proposal.
