Reader Poll – A Little Help Here?

ckwebb.com recently underwent a redesign, and I’m still tweaking it a bit.  Although most of you read ckwebb.com via the RSS feed, many do click through.  So some of questions for you, dear readers:

  1. On the main page I currently have excerpts from the 10 most recent posts.  Do you prefer the full text on the main page, just want to click through to posts that interest you?
  2. What’s missing on ckwebb.com?  Why do you read?  How can I make this space a real resource for like-minded readers?
  3. And finally, can anyone tell me why the hell this site still isn’t listed in Google’s index?

    I think Google has banned your site due to any reason. You can contact to Google for solving this matter. Mine too had once banned by Google but later on it was released…I think you can try first…

    The google blackout is interesting -- and complete. I added 'ckwebb.com' at http://www.google.com/addurl/?... . (Presumptuous, I know.) And I'll link to you -- that should change things overnight.

    I don't like the loss of formatting in excerpts. I can't always tell where your text ends and quoted text begins, for example. Most of your entries are short enough that excerpts are unnecessary. (In a few cases, I've used 'keep reading' and found only a few additional words on the next page.) I recommend you use WP's --more-- function if you feel an entry is too long. I want to get it all on the main page. Thanks for asking. peace, mjh
